A set of six Shelley Art Deco hand painted bone china plates.

White china with hand enamelled poppy flowers, stylized leaves and a black transfer pattern of leaves and corn. Finished with a black glazed rim.

7 inches - 18cm approx. wide.

One plate has 2 tiny (2 mm & 4mm) brown marks under the glaze probably done during manufacture.

Collectible Shelley Art Deco period teaware made by Shelley potteries Ltd., the Foley, Longton, Staffordshire, England. c.1925-9.
